MATILDA will be present at EuCNC 2019 and will showcase the use of Vertical Application Orchestrator (VAO), OSS and OSM/NFV capabilities supported by the MATILDA framework to build and run two distinctive industrial vertical applications, from Media (5GPACE) and Public Safety (5G PPDR) domains.
Moreover it will present the poster entitled "MATILDA: A Value Proposition for Telecommunication Service Providers for Vertical Applications' Integration in a 5G -Ecosystem", the technical paper "Definition and Evaluation of Latency in 5G with Heterogeneous Use Cases and Architectures" (joint paper with NGPaaS, 5GCity, and MATILDA) and the Smart City (noisy neighbour) demo (at the SliceNet booth) that integrates work from SliceNet and MATILDA projects to show inter-slice resources conflict mitigation, by onboarding an application in the Marketplace, deploying 2 slices and providing an ML model that monitors slice-level metrics, predicts service-level degradation, and locates its source.
The Digital Assembly 2019 is forum for stakeholders to take stock of the achievements of the Digital Single Market Strategy, draw lessons and to exchange views on the contours of a future digital policy.
The event will be a great opportunity to showcase how digital is transforming our societies and economies, and how it can help bring positive change to our lives. It will be co-organised by the European Commission and the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
MATILDA participate jointly with the projects SliceNet and 5GEve and will present the demonstration of the smart connected city use case.
New whitepaper just released from Matilda team: "OSS for 5G-Ready Applications".
The presented work explains in details the overall system architecture adopted to orchestrate the 5G-ready applications, the Network Platform Layer, the extended operations support system (OSS), the Wide Area Infrastructure Manager (WIM), the COmputing Slice Manager (CSM) and the MultiSite NFV Orchestrator (NFVO).

The 5th MATILDA Plenary Meeting is taking place in Athens on 9-11 April, hosted by the University of Piraeus.
Three full days for deep technical discussions about the activities status, deliverables and next actions for the Communication and Dissemination tasks, comprising an exciting project expoitation workshop arranged by the WP7 Leader ATOS.
The main topics of the discussions are related to WP2 (and in particular the dashboard, Graph Composer, Policies Editor and Recommender topics), WP3 (mainly covering the Vertical Application Orchestrator, the Context Awareness Engine, the CEP Mechanisms and the Deployment, the Runtime Policies and the Data analytics topic ), WP4 (including the Multi-site VIM, Slice Manager, OSS, Northbound Interfaces and End to end Active and Passive Monitoring Mechanisms in the Network Slice ) and all the use cases and demonstrators.
